TMI warning...

I have been spotting on and off for 4 days now. It's not even enough to get on my underwear, just a little bit when I wipe, and it's once a day only. I don't know what to do... My first midwife appointment is on the 23rd, should I go see my doctor? Can he confirm everything is ok or not?
I have no cramps but no symptoms either...

Spotting with no cramps turns out OK most of the time, I think. Especially with the small amount of spotting you have. I think even with bright red bleeding and no cramps turns out OK 50% of the time, so spotting is probably a lot higher than that. If you go to a doctor they can take your blood and check your hcg levels to see if they are going up, down, and if they are doubling correctly.

I know it is nervewracking. Would you like prayers for you?

With that little of spotting I am sure everything is ok. You could have your HCG levels checked as degas mentioned as well as your progesterone checked. Other than that there isn't really anything you could do at this point.
I am sure everything is fine

I spotted a bit with my first pregnancy because I did some heavy lifting. Your cervix is really sensative during pregnancy too... It can bleed from the slightest provocation. This may be the problem for you. When I miscarried I started spotting and I kept spotting until I passed the fetal tissue. I never bled heavily but I do remember it beign very painful, I have my fingers crossed that you're little bean is just trying to scare you and nothing is actually wrong.

Like fyrebloom said, you can also spot from provocation of the cervix. Have you dtd recently? That can cause spotting when nothing is wrong.

Nothing so far today, hopefully it will stay that way. I went to see a doctor but there were too many people waiting. I shoveled the snow just before it started (I'm in Canada, so I guess it counts as heavy lifting).

Thank you so much for your well wishes and prayers. I really appreciate it.

I've spotted for about three days with this pregnancy. It was similar to yours, very faint. And both my ob and m/w told me that w/out cramping it should be fine.

I am glad you haven't had any more spotting:

So, I had some spotting when I went to the bathroom this evening. It was only on the tp, but it was still there and I am freaking out! I know that spotting without cramping is usually viewed as ok, but with my 2 previous pregnancies gone bad I had no cramping at all when I started bleeding. I'm going to call my OB tomorrow, but I may not even be able to get in for bloodwork until Monday because I work Thursday through Saturday. Please send me sticky vibes!

Sorry to all the mamas having spotting. I had spotting for three days that was very scant and only on the TP when I wiped. It stopped and I'm so glad. It is the absolute worst to see any kind of blood when you are pregnant, especially when you have already had a loss. Sticky vibes to everyone and try (easier said than done, I know) not to worry.

No spotting since that little bit last night, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it was just a fluke.:
