Bradley Method Exercises?

Thread Starter
I was at a yoga class on Saturday, and one of the women in the class was talking about the exercises she does for her Bradley practice. I'm curious to know what they recommend, so I hoped that one of you might have taken Bradley classes and would be able to share what is recommended (what exercises/positions, how much to do them, specific ways of doing exercises (e.g., variations on kegels)).

There are several. 150 kegels a day, being "deliberate" about them. Squatting (both feet on the floor and lowering all the way down), sitting cross-legged with a straight back for up to 30 minutes, hands and knees, arching the back towards the floor and then bringing it back to a neutral position (really you're waving your butt around; they're called pelvic rocks and are supposed to help with round ligament pain.) Build up to 30 of those three times a day. There might be another one but I don't recall offhand.

They also recommend that you practice relaxation with the help of your partner. He should practice massaging various parts of your body and taking direction from you so that in labor you know how to communicate what you want.
