Sigh, my mom has been blind for 20 years, but has only admitted in the last 2-3 that she's not getting any better. Technically, I think she was "low vision". She and my dad have steadfastly refused to get services from their local Federation for the Blind. (And it's my MOM who's refusing, not my dad.) But she's a child of the Depression and asking for help is somehow "bad".
Any ideas on how to knock some sense into her 80 year old brain would be appreciated! (In a very GD manner, of course

).
