Hi ladies-
i haven't posted here as much as I thought I would, but I wanted to let you all know that Lincoln Alexander was born Tuesday 1/27, at 39 weeks gestation, in the middle of the biggest ice and snow storm our city has seen for quite a while. We had to drive through unplowed roads to get to the hospital, and my labor was progressing so quickly that I was really scared we might end up delivering our own baby in the car, in the snow. I'm happy to report that we made it in plenty of time, though, and it was a really beautiful, completley natural hospital birth with my husband, doula, midwife, and really fantastic labor nurse present.
