Fuzzi Bunz One Size?

I thought I had my diaper stash all planned out until I saw that FB now has a one size version. Has anyone tried these yet? What do you think? How old/big is your babe? Thanks!

they look complicated to me, with the thigh adjustment buttons.

I do love OS pockets, though, just not sure I will ever try FB.

One size.....hmmmm...I'll be darn.

I have 2!! I like them ok on DS (9.5 months old) but they seem a bit bulky for my liking. It took some trial and error to get the elastic adjustments adjusted right but now that they are adjusted right they fit him really well, just buldier then I like though I am sure that will change as he grows, he is still very much on the short and chunky side of things. The thing I don't like is that once you have them adjusted to one size you kind of have to leave them there and the whole reason I like my OS diapers is to make having 2 in diapers easier, if that makes sense!!

I think they run a little large...but so do all the new FB. I like them. I think they would be too big and bulky for a NB though. The inserts are better than there regular inserts...but thicker. I think it is a great OS for babies that run larger like my son.

I just got mine in the mail this week. I haven't used it yet. All the settings are a little overwhelming. How on Earth am I supposed to get my 18 month to sit still long enough to figure out what setting works best for him? The inserts do seem to be a little thicker. I wonder how many layers of microfleece they used?

I have several and love them! They are bulkier, but come with 2 inserts. I've found them easy to adjust, I just compared an unstuffed Fuzzi to a wrap he uses all the time and shortened them that way.

If you can adjust those kids pants with the elastic buttons inside, you can do these diapers.

I've been eying these. Does it look like the elastic adjusters are going to hold up? I'm guessing that they'll get a lot of stress over the life of the diapers.

The warrenty on these is better than the usual FB warrenty. Lifetime on snaps, 6 months on workmanship, and 18 months on elastic. If the elastic gives out, you just write and they send you a new set of elastics to feed through. Very very easy!

Would you guys think the one size would work for me starting out CDing my 18 pound 5 month old? Or do you think the mediums would work better?

I think you would have good luck with these if you have found that you like FB. My son fits their mediums right now and does well with the OS. He is about 25 lbs now though.

I saw one of these in person for the first time today. We were all pretty impressed. It's a very innovative system, clearly akin to the adjustable waist pants that are so good for toddlers and bigger kids (my skinny-minny 6yo would be in trouble without them!). I will gander that adjusting the dipes will be much like adjusting the pants - guessing, trying it, and adjusting again if it's not right. I wouldn't expect to make the adjustments with the baby waiting!

The diaper I saw was definitely bulky, but had both inserts in it. It seemed stuffed well enough for a night diaper, which I don't mind being bulky. The only possible area of concern (other than the elastic wearing out) is if they would have trouble with wing droop, as there is only one row of snaps. BUT, the overlapping snaps are fabulous!

All in all, I think I'll give them a try...
