"Coolababy" CDs from eBay???

So I have been looking around for cheap diapers (I bought some material to make some myself as well, but I am not yet sure how they will turn out ) and there are quite a lot of offers on eBay. There are "coolababy" AIOs for very cheap. They sell 12 dipes + 24 inserts for $96 and free shipping to anywhere in the world. Strangely enough, they also offer 24 diapers with 24 inserts for $132 but you have to pay for the shipping. They're based in China. Has anyone used them and what do you think?

Thanks!

I would be VERY careful. I have a that thought she was getting a deal and they fell apart. I don't remember the name. Wish I could be more help!

i saw those as well but it seems too good to be true...

There's a thread on them at diaperswappers, here
They end up being $8 ea.

You can also get wonderoos for $9 each (plus shipping) from the swaddlebees outlet. They come with 2 inserts each as well- one for the smaller settings, and one for large. www.swaddlebees.com
If you're in the US, do you have to pay customs or anything for things shipped from other countries?

I was still thinking about it - anything that seems to be too good to be true normally *is*. But my mom has already gone ahead and ordered them for me so I will let you all know what happens. She ordered 12 plus 12 inserts, and told the seller she wanted either a mix of colors or all green ones. The reply came immediately:

"hi, we have sent each of color and 5 green to you.hope u will satisfy with them.
thanks"

Hope you will satisfy with them, couldn't believe that one

Oh, and about the customs, my experience with stuff from ebay is that you get charged once in a while - they apparently do random checks.

i also hope you will satisfy with them LOL

Wow, that's really fast! I hope they work (although, then I might not be able to resist ordering some myself ).

I started using these diapers yesterday after washing them, and there is nothing wrong with them. The fit is really good. The smallest setting fits my 6 week old, and my toddler can wear the dipes on the 'medium" setting without any problems (which is great because she is just having a potty lapse. The inserts are quite absorbent but I do do wish I had 2 inlays per diaper as I do think that is necessary. And they refuse to sell inserts separately. So I put in inserts that I have made myself along with their ones, which are microfiber BTW. All in all though, I think they were definitely worth it for that price! I would like to buy bumgenius but I can't really afford them.

I bought two dozen of these two months ago. One fell apart in the first wash, two have delaminated to the point that they're unusable, and about half of the rest have delaminated in patches. I don't think they'll last my two-year-old through potty training, let alone another baby. The inserts are nice, though, and I was able to buy another set separately. It just depends on which seller you get them from. I wouldn't recommend the dipes, though. Ever. It's better to build up a stash of quality diapers, one at a time if you have to.

Really? I've had mine for a while now, and *so far* they are fine. I like the inserts, they are really very absorbent. Great fit as well. I am hoping they won't come apart or delaminate any time soon, especially as I have just ordered 12 more. I also asked to buy the inserts seperately but they wouldn't sell them without the dipes.

I have wondering about these. For the price I really want to try them. I have another baby coming in September so I hope more people will review them.

We have bumgenius 2.0 now and it seems like the 3.0's have hit and miss reviews too, they are over twice as much.
