Help me find this book

I found a book in the store a while back that looked interesting, but I didn't have the cash. Now, I can't find it and can't remember the name of it.

The cover had a guy with long hair, a sheep (I think), and he was holding a cane.... The author documented his experiences while trying to live life in accordance to the Bible.

Anyone know what I'm talking about?

What a coincidence! I'm reading the book right now. It's The Year of Living Biblically: One Man's Humble Quest To Follow The Bible As Literally As Possible. The author is A.J. Jacobs.

Yea it's "the year of living biblically". It was ok, it wasn't wonderful. His wife is more interesting and funny than the author

I read it and really enjoyed it. AJ has a great sense of humor and isn't afraid to make fun of himself. His long-suffering wife is hysterical as well, and there are some really touching parts about his children (and his and his wife's journey to becoming parents) in both his books.

I recommend both The Year of Living Biblically and The Know-It-All. They were both really fun reads.

I enjoyed the book. It's humorous and fun although I felt he could have pared down some sections.

Crafty made me read both of them (at another book forum ), and I am grateful. And look forward to anything else he will write.

I enjoyed it. It's different from most things I read, and sometimes I roll my eyes at him, but I like that he seems to (most of the time) throw himself into things and pasisonately think about them. And it's funny!
