Hi,
I am sewing pocket diapers for my cousin's new baby. I have only sewed for my older baby and never made gussetts on my Happy Heiny-like pockets. However I made some newborn diapers for my friend's baby and she had trouble with blow-outs. I thought gussets would be the answer to that problem.
I am adding gussets (with elastic inside between the fleece and the PUL), and was wondering if I should also apply elastic inside the regular part of the pocket (like I usually do) or is the outer elastic enough? It's tough to guess because I don't have a newborn handy to try it on!
Any suggestions are welcome with your experiences.
Thank you,
Holly
