I read a book when I was in 6th grade or so (1986 or so
. It was a book about a girl named Jeremy (I remember that was her name, and how cool it was that she had a "boy's" name) and she had some sort of disease (epilepsy, or diabetes, can't remember) and it talks about her going to school. And I think in one part she tried to make dinner (her mom was either working very hard- I don't remember a dad- or she was not a good mom- I forget) and she made "stew" and put raisins in it (because they were brown, and she remembered stew was brown) and put cola in because it was brown too.
No this wasn't a dream or a hallucination.
Does anyone know this book? TIA
