medical transcription?

Does anyone have experience doing medical transcription? I am wondering how I would go about finding work and what is needed. I would love to hear about some else's experience.

I've been an MT for a few years now. Do you have any experience or education? Most companies require a couple of years of experience or graduation from an AHDI-approved course. A good course should offer job placement assistance.

I have been working as an MT for about 4 months now. It is great. As the pp said, you do need to get training. My training was online and self-paced. It took me 10 months to finish. It is not an easy, get-rich-quick scheme. You have to be willing to spend the time, effort and money on your education. That being said, it is a real way to make money from home. I love it so far. I have been an MT for 2 1/2 years now. I took an online course through careerstep.. I was able to get a job soon after finishing the course.. If you want more info, you can send me a PM also!
