GE, large capacity.

I have a matching washer too, that one does need a timer ($150 part!)
We just upgraded instead of fixing it.
Your in Anchorage, right?
I'm going to check with dh tonight, and I'm going to guess that he would be more than glad to take it off your hands.
Just the dryer? Or the set?
Oh. and this makes a difference....by gas, do you mean natural gas, or propane? We do not have access to natural in Willow.

Gas as in Natural Gas but you can just buy a fitting that changes it over to propane. DH says Lowes or a plumbing store would have the fittings.

You are welcome to get it when ever you want. Both or just the dryer. Really, it is just sitting there under the carport.

Oh, I am in Anchorage.

Hmmm, I'm going to guess that we will give them a new home...I will let you know Sat.
I forgot you can switch them back and forth. And the part costs like $5. Did that with a stove I had in an apartment at a camp I worked at.
I tend to hang most of our laundry, but its nice to use the dryer on occasion.
Our electric one costs us a bit to much to run.

After pondering getting it for a couple od days, dh decided we better not.
We have to many other projects back logged, and summer is fast aproaching.
Where does the time fly to?

I was beginning to think I was the only person denied on the Anchorage Freecycle! The moderator must have been on her highest defenses, because she told me (after I failed and questioned the validity of the test) that her elementary school aged-son got 100%...yikes.

great to hear we are not alone!

Are you on Freecycle now or did you just give up?

Oh, by the way, the Dryer and Washer found a home.

I just kinda let it roll off me. I wasn't ready for the re-test, I guess. I was not smarter than a 5th grader, you might say.
