easy sites for ordering diapers- good for family members?

We are having a second baby and I gave away many of my smaller diapers. I would like to rebuild my diaper stash and I am going to suggest that for baby gifts (seriously, I have WAYYY too many baby clothes already! just got tons of hand-me-downs).

I have some family members who are not so savvy about internet ordering (or maybe who don't do it?), plus are nowhere near the diapering part of their lives. I would like to be able to direct them to websites that also might have really helpful phone customer service so they could even call up and order over the phone- or are otherwise just really easy to navigate and use.

FWIW I like prefolds and fitteds in natural fibers, and wool or PUL covers. I like stuff pretty simple. I wash in a shared facility so I can't have lots of fussy things to deal with, so I'd want them going somewhere that they can find all that.

I could also direct people to brick and mortar stores. I have family in Eastern N Carolina (near Greenville, though they *might* go as far as the Raleigh-Durham area- they are the least internet-savvy), NYC (the most internet-savvy ones), southern NJ (and she works in Trenton), Seattle WA (I am sure there are TONS of cloth diapers around there though, seems so crunchy).

Any suggestions?

I'm new to cloth diapering, and I have found the most easily navigated site to be www.jilliansdrawers.com They've got really good customer service - a store in NY, so someone should always be there to answer the phone during business hours. They do carry wool covers and natural fiber diapers....

also, I think they may have a gift registry - which sounds like it would be perfect for you!!!

thanks! I will check with them about phone ordering, gift registry stuff.

I second the suggestion for www.jilliansdrawers.com. They have a nice site, good customer service and my stuff shipped quickly.

Another vote for Jillian's Drawers!!!

They are so wonderful... I believe you can do a registry with them too.
They also have a small selection of very slightly used items for cheaper (returns from the awesome new to cloth trial system they have-- all items were used for less than 3 wks).

We used to shop at their brick and mortar store. It was our favorite place for an outing!!! We miss it so much, now that we've moved.

Their customer service is excellent. And I'm 99.9 percent sure that if you set up a registry with them, people could call and place an order- for those who don't do the internet.

FWIW... they are also a living wage employer and offer their employees great benefits-- flexible work schedules for the mamas and sometimes even bringing your LO with you to work. We really wanted to support this, so we use them for all our diapering needs online now that we're out of the area.

I really like www.abbyslane.com They have a registry too.

I second abbyslane.com ... I ordered diapers after 9:30pm on a Friday night and had them Monday morning in the mail.

wow, thanks, keep em coming if there are more! It looks like Jillian's Drawers does not have their registry service right now (though I am waiting to hear back), too bad, they have great products and a big selection, and it sounds like wonderful business.

Abbyslane may be perfect though- phone help, internet ordering, free shipping AND registry... wow! A slightly smaller selection but honestly its got more than enough to stock us up really well...

Thanks!!

http://www.diaperware.com/ also has a big selection. You can also make registries at places like http://www.thethingsiwant.com/ - though you run the risk of having people choose things from multiple vendors, and having to deal with extra shipping charges.

I love www.wildflowerdiapers.com. Very easy to navigate, and I believe they have a registry you can set up. Also, they offer free FedEx shipping for orders over $150, which is great if you're building a stash (or have expensive taste...). And the customer service is EXCELLENT -- you can call and check on an order or just ask questions/place an order by phone and they're SO nice.

I love all the sites people have recommended but as I'm from NC (Raleigh) and am familiar with Eastern NC as well I want to recommend the boutique at the birth center in chapel hill for cloth diapers if people want to have fun picking things out they have a wide selection and also this site http://www.simplewondersdiapers.com/ based out of eastern NC and a fellow MDC momma - definitely worth checking out and writing an email to.

I really like http://nickisdiapers.com/

Free shipping on many items, and free shipping on all orders over $75. They have a registry and a good selection.

Haha, that's so funny....they're in my town and I can walk there from my house! They're pretty great, and they do have great customer service, that's true.

Here in Portland we have www.babyworks.com and I order from them over the phone all the time! Mom ran, they are a lot of fun!

I found this store in NYC I think Manhattan http://www.metrominis.com/

I never been to the store, but I did order my sling (Hubby called there and they shipped it to me) from there after I had my daughter. I always buy my CD from nicki's diapers. I have bought from green mountain diapers and kelly's closet before. I mostly check for the shipping and the sales items. good luck!

I love kelly's closet, myself. When I first went to buy cloth diapers-- brand new to the whole process and very, very nervous since I didn't know anyone nearby who could help me!-- I found her site to be very user-friendly and her customer service is EXCEPTIONAL.

Another vote for Nicki's Diapers, which is where I got most of my stuff. Good selection, easy to use, but their bricks 'n' mortar store is nowhere near any of your relatives.

Oh, this is GREAT info- thanks. My ILs might go to Chapel Hill some day, and I am just at a total loss as to where to direct them for "natural" type stuff in eastern NC, its normally like Walmart-for-everything (and Belks if you're being fancy). Though I am not sure they've actually gone INTO Raleigh, Durham or CH- when they picked us up at the airport last time they wanted to "show us around" Raleigh and we had the distinct impression that they perhaps had never actually gotten OUT of the car in the city. Oh well. I think they retired down there b/c they wanted to be "country people" (they lived all their adult lives in the DC suburbs). However, with a mission to go on, my MIL might be interested. I suggested a while back they check out the store at the Waldorf School for toys. If only I could come up with a quilt store for her to visit, she might actually go...
