That's so hard having to wait! Good for you though mama! I made myself wait until DP was nearby to test each time because I was so sure I'd blab to anyone who walked by first if he wasn't there. I'm a loud mouth with this stuff, can't hold it in.

This was me a week ago. My DH was on a jobsite w/no cell service and I took a test right after he left for work. I had to call my best friend because I had to tell someone. That was the longest wait ever. When I told him he didn't believe me.

Leila, me too about being a big mouth about this stuff!! I could barely stand not yelling from my roof top all evening! I kept letting all our phone calls go to voice mail because I knew I couldn't possibly SPEAK without freaking out.

Norasmomma, I can't imagine how you made it allllll day long without being able to tell your DH!

Ok, so Dear Husband's been let in on the news. He's on the phone sharing with his parents. I can spill now!! :

So I'm about 12 DPO. I was charting my cm & cervical positions but not temping. Today I went to the Dollar Tree & picked up some tests "just because"- I haven't had the slightest twinge that led me to believe for a second that I could be pregnant! I took the test, then ran out of the bathroom to my 17 yr old DD & asked her to "hurry! come stare at this pregnancy test with me!! do you see a blurry line right there? do you do you??" Lo & behold, she saw it, too! I wasn't just imagining things!

Then I proceeded to walk around in a daze of joy, terror, excitement, gratitude, nervousness, then total numbness. And then joy again. I'm sure you all can relate!!

I'm so so happy that I get to do this again! I am one blessed chick.

So, this is baby #5, I'm due about Oct 17th. My kids are 13 months, 3 yrs, 10 yrs and 17 yrs. This is the 3rd baby with my husband.

I am OVERJOYED to the point of wanting to puke on my keyboard to be here.

Congrats! I'm due on the 17th as well:

With my first pregnancy I found out on a Monday morning and my DH had just left town for four days. I wanted to tell him in person instead of one the phone so I had to wait the whole time. So of course I told my siste and a friend lol

Congratulations!: Now there are two of us in this DDC pregnant with #5! Makes me not feel like such a crazy woman! I know what you mean about being overjoyed and feeling so lucky to get to have another baby. It is fantastic. Good luck to you ever the next eight or so months.

Jamie, yay another due date buddy! We need a due date sticky up top. Or maybe we have one & I just haven't had time to discover it yet..... Do do you expect to birth before or after your edd?? My prediction is a couple days before, but of my 4 kids two came before & the other two came after so it's really tough to predict! I can't imagine waiting 4 whole days!! I was being a big baby over just 4 hours! :

Firewoman & Treehugginmama ! I'm SO happy to see you guys. I was worried that I might be the only one on #5 here! YAY, I'm excited to share my birthin' up baby #5 adventure with you! I want to hear how quickly you guys are predicting your labors are going to be. ?? My 4 went like this:
24 hours, 7 hours, 90minutes, 3 hours. I just have no idea what to expect! I thought after the 90min birth that my next one would be like 20 minutes. Congratulations to you both! Are your families supportive of your big family havin' ways?

Zjande, Firewoman & Treehugginmama, I would LOVE to be at number five. I have always said I want to beat my mother, who had 8 - but she started 8 years before I did, so we will see how that goes. Give me a few years and I will catch up to your five! Congrats to all of you!

zjande, I don't know what to think about when i'll birth. For some reason i'm feeling so negative about this pregnancy so i'm picturing being induced for high BP or having a really early baby. I am so weird. I was actually gonna start a post about how I have a bad feeling about the stickiness of this pregnancy but I just sound so negative...ugh

So now that I got that out..lol The four day wait was horrible! And I talked to him on the phone every day. Then, he got home Thursday and I had to leave for a trip Friday till Sunday, and then he left again Sunday! So we had to spend another week not telling people because we wanted to tell them together! lol
