It's so expensive.

Do any Canadian WAHMs have advice about minimizing shipping costs? It's so much more expensive than shipping from the US to the US. It's quite prohibitive in fact.

Have you looked at the VentureOne stuff for small businesses with Canada Post? It looks like you can save up to 8% with them.

Sorry, no advice - just commiserating.

We have VentureOne. . . but only in a "better than a kick in the head" sort of way! Up to 8%, whoo hoo!

We do a lot of shipping through Purolator Courier with our work and are glad to be part of a larger account that has discounted Purolator rates. It continually seems ridiculous to me that Purolator can be servicing us at a rate that is discounted due to volume, provide much faster service and do home deliveries rather than a centralized post office, yet be CHEAPER than Canada Post, who offers a slower service.

I think Canada Post is riding the gravy train of Canada having low population and subsequently little competition on a lot of this stuff.
