some obscure questions

1. when you cook food do the omega 3s disappear, lessen, or worse, turn into trans fatty acids? I'm thinking about egg and fish.

2. When it is said to use BO and CLO "in conjunction" I assume they mean take some every day. This does not necessarily mean to take them at the same time, or does it?

3. I've been told I have an omega 3 deficiency. I'm trying to find the best way to boost my intake. I do CLO and BO, eggs, good raw pasture-raised cow butter, seafood and flaxseed, should I be doing more? Also, I do not take in as many O6 as I used to (ie: less grains and veggie oils). Are there other O3 dense foods?

4. For those who have overcome O3 deficiency, how long does it take?
I think I've been deficient for a long time and I've been eating TF for about 3 months. But apparently I still have signs of deficiency.

Sardines are REALLY high in omega 3s.

I diagnosed myself with an omega-3 deficiency after a long and nasty bout of food poisoning and then the discovery of my gluten-intolerance. My skin was horribly dry and I was depressed for the first time in my life.

I started taking fish oil, in addition to CLO, in large doses. I took 3000-6000 mg per day. I also ate eggs back then (allergic now) and lots of grassfed beef. I started feeling better after just a couple of weeks, and felt LOTS better after 2 or 3 months.

1. Dunno for sure, but I think they're fine.

2. I assume they mean take some every day.

3. Walnuts and purslane.

4. I used omega 3 to treat my depression. I took 3 T. of Carlsons fish oil each day for 2-3 months and then I started to get jittery so now I just take it when I remember.

I've never been a fan. Do you have any suggestions on a tasty way to eat them?
