I am for informed decisions as well.

I don't think movies have hidden messages either, or "secret mearning" but I do think movies will sometimes play off of a concept from real life, even though the movie is make believe. it might not have been the writers intentions at all. or it might have been what DaWIC said. don't know, but that is what I got from the movie, and I wasn't "looking" for it.

I dont' think kids movies tend to have agendas...but they sure as heck have things written in that have alternative meanings. I can't think of a movie that doesn't! Mostly it's characters that have similar characteristics to political figures, well known television characters, plots in books etc. that will engage and amuse parents as previously stated. Just as with any other form of entertainment the movies draw from real life. I dont' look for meaning, I watch for my own enjoyment. I don't think the movie was pro or anti vax...but I can believe that they were taking that opportunity to make a joke of something that mirrors one of today's bigger issues..
