Peanut Butter

Just wondering how many of you are PB fans and how often you eat it. I LOVE nut butters, and usually eat almond butter, but thought I'd try to save some $ by trading on and off with PB. As long as it's organic and I'm not allergic... any opinions?

The only problem with peanut butter is that peanuts are susceptible to aflatoxins, which come from (I believe) a mould that grows on peanuts. However, if you buy (or make) pb from roasted peanuts, the aflatoxins are destroyed. Maranatha brand PB is great - I think it's available nearly everywhere, organic, made from roasted peanuts, and deeeelicious.

Yeah, I've heard the same thing - thanks! I'm in love with the "Once Again" Peanut Butter. But I LOVE Marantha's Almond Butter!!!
