Question on making coverss

I just made a few pairs of longies for DD. I made them out of the sleeves of thrift shop wool sweaters. So now I was wondering what can I do with the rest of the material? I was hoping to maybe be able to make some covers but wasn't sure if I just used another pattern and cut it out would that work if I serged around the edges of the material

Make a couple of bumsweaters!

For me, I use the extras of the waistband, or the neckband for the legs, rather that the wrist cuffs(since that part has already been used)

I don't really care for my butt sweaters that much. If I do it again, I'll use a pattern and make a wrap style cover with aplix. That just works better for us.

What pattern do you use for the wool wraps? And can you do this with wool sweaters? All the wool wraps I see online seem to use wool interlock!

I love to try a wrap with a sweater
