wondering if anyone has ever seen a pattern for a pair of split pants?
i am not yet able to actually come up with the patterns myself yet but thought this would be an easy one to try on....anyone beat me to it???

I havent seen any patterns but i dont look much since i cant read a pattern

I have made some pants that would ahve been far easier to leave as split pants(duh i never thought to do that) I did knit1 purl1 for 30 rows(30 stitches fit my skinny 18mo with a diapereasily ) then just knit a row purl a row(can anyone tell me what that would be considered???) for 50 rows. and then did another one for the other leg. Then i stitched together the tops(k1p1) then stitched up the legs and ahd a grand ol time trying to figure out how to get a workable movable crotch.... leaving that out would have been WAY easier!!!

the k1p1 top gives LOTS of stretch to go over diaper or whatever but it also hugs around diaper or waist and stays on quite well. I'm think every time i do pants(I usually do the waist this way but do the legs with double point needles now and do all 60 stitches at once) i maybe shoiuld make it smaller sicne she'll be potty trained soon and i make the legs a little extra long to give more life to the pants.... we also ahve another baby on te way... but i'm afraid to make the waist to small i guess...

love to hear other ideas! i'm guessing with every item i make...lol
