fleece/diaper rash cream

So my LO has a little diaper rash and I have been using a fleece liner so the diaper rash cream won't get on my diapers. So my question for you guys is: Can I wash the fleece with the diapers or should I wash them in a different load to avoid any contamination of my dipes? Thanks, I'm a newbie at CD and am still trying to figure everything out!

I definately think it's better to wash them separate. I just throw them in with the towels or a different load of ds's clothes or something. That way, those same cream molecules aren't landing on your diapers - just what you were trying to protect them from! Now - the truth is, I only wash them separately if they have pee. If ds poops on them, oh well, I throw them in with the dipes and hope for the best.

Thanks for your reply! I had a feeling I was supposed to wash them separate, but I wanted to hear it from the experts!

Sorry to hijack, but could someone let me know the problem with the diaper rash cream getting on the diapers & liners?

Thanks!
