Is there specific advice which you're seeking? I'm not sure what you're looking for exactly. A recommendation? What kinds of questions to ask while "shopping"?

I just want to find a "dr." but not sure what kind, i had found one that i was so excited about but its not covered under ins and i can't afford the 400 fee when i know there would be followups. it was a wellness center with integrative health care practitioners-just what i wanted! i can't figure out solids etc for DS later when he is older and what to give him for foods when he is 1 (can't have milk/soy) so i want someone to guide me. also i am taking gut healing supplements etc at the rec of this site and others but want to make sure i'm doing everything right and if i need more/less.i'd like myself tested and ds tested again. ALSO, DS is 7 months and my hair is receding/thinning. i'm concered my hormose are off or something. so we have many needs. is their a board to post on to get reccomendations for my area i live or work in?
would a naturopath guide me with all of this?
questions to ask while shopping would be truly helpful for me.

It sounds to me like what you are seeking is a naturopath or a homeopath- although more likely a naturopath (ND).
If you check in finding your tribe, under Tribal Areas, there is a listing of different places. You can find the general area in which you live, and ask if anyone has any recommendations for a doctor in your more specific area. For example, if you live in Seattle, you would go to the Washington, Oregon, Idaho tribal area and post "Looking for a doctor in Seattle" and then specify what you're looking for.
HTH.
