Oh, and the little bubble said they have used 150,000 disposable diapers!
I loved the honeymoon epsiode. It was very entertaining. I thought it continued to show how much Josh loves attention-we are talking about a guy who called camera crews to his house to capture his wife's reaction to finding out she's pregant.

I also found the 150,000 diapers factoid alarming and sad. All of those diapers in a landfill forever....

She means it's weird they had a honeymoon episode. I do think it's weird that they would have cameras follow them on their honeymoon. I haven't seen that episode yet. Anyone know where I can watch the full thing online?

oh, okay...

You know I guess it is a little (or a lot) invasive that they had camera crews on their honeymoon but since they are a family on a reality show (and thus not very private people) it didn't strike me as too odd. Now Anna finding out she was pregnant in front of the camera crews was uncomfortable to watch.

I haven't seen the 'anna finds out she's pregnant' episode yet. I knew she was from the buzz but did I miss it? my dvr is set to discovery health, I must have to switch it to tlc to get the MOST current episode?

YES! I made that point several threads ago I can totally see that that is something the couple desires for themselves and prays for together. But IMO there is no need to pray about something so intimate at a restaurant, on TV, with your siblings there!

I have been enjoying the new shows- now that I've been clued in to the new name! I was wondering why nothing new was taping!

Also, congrats to Anna on her pregnancy! I did wonder why she would need to take so many pregnancy tests as was mentioned on the show- you'd think they'd be well versed in NFP! Someone needs to send an express copy of TCOYF

I loved the "Nike!" explanation!

I've only watched this show a couple of times and not recently. I've seen a couple posts here mentioning Josh telling Anna she was pregnant on the show. Could someone fill me in as to how Josh knew Anna was pregnant before she did?

We are more liberal in lifestyle than the Duggars (though still pretty conservative) but I keep finding Josh's references a bit over the top. The whole courtship thing was just I know they were trying to make a point, but honestly, I'm not sure praying about sexual purity over dinner at a restaurant is entirely appropriate (or polite). :
Yeah, I'd place that in the category of downright creepy. I'm a Christian too but if I'm going to pray I'm not gonna pray for sexual purity at Chili's or whatever.

She took the test and made him look at it because she was discouraged from her negative tests she'd gotten before.

Anna had talked about how she'd take a pregnancy test, and it would be negative and she'd be very disappointed. So finally, she decided to take one, and leave it in the bathroom and let Josh see the results first and tell her. Josh looked at the results, saw it was positive, called the producers and the camera crew came over and he told her.

I didn't see this episode and I agree that on t.v. yeah, that's not good. But praying about such a thing in a restaurant privately at your table or with your siblings, I see nothing wrong with that. Maybe because this family seems to be raising all of their children to hopefully go the same route. They are all likely used to talking about the topic at home.

I agree. I see nothing wrong with praying about that in front of family because obviously that is a viewpoint that they share and talk about with their kids.

Watchin the doc episode.
Josh seems attentive (and cute that he went), but I am a bit weirded out that he talks for her.

I didn't see this episode either, but it seems like him calling the camera crew over gave it away for her.

Anyone find Josh's comments weird about why they get an early ultrasound? He commented that it is good to know if the baby is not healthy so they can make a decision about what to do? Does that mean they would consider aborting the baby? That sounds super anti-Duggar to me.

I totally missed that. And I'm sure that an abortion is not an option for them.

I don't think he ment abortion. But if the baby has medical issues it would be good to know ahead of time so they can plan and prepare for it, I think that's what he ment.

Yeah I took the early ultrasound comment as if the baby needs medical help or if Anna would need medical attention they would know and could treat it or whatever. I dont think it was meaning abortion at all. I feel for anna though, I was sick for the first weeks and it was miserable yet she kept going and working with him at the dealership.

I wonder how early the u/s was? I'm wondering what it is he is talking about that can be done and what they would be able to see in the first place? It is a strange comment.

Ya I wondered the same thing. I wonder if he meant that if she was going to miscarry that they would be aware and prepare.
