Nettles giving me a wicked headache, I messed up

I infused my first quart of nettles and I did something dumb....made a cup of nettles per quart instead of gallon. I let it infuse for about 8 hrs.
I feel like an idiot

Luckily I only drank about half a cup, but it's given me a very intense headache...very intense....

Probably I have the headache b/c I made it too strong, not b/c I'm not tolerating it right?

I hope this doesn't hurt my little guy when it gets into my breastmilk...

that's about the strength that susun weed recommends brewing it(2 handfuls/qt), and how i usually do it. hope your babe's ok w/it!

would 2 handfuls be a cup?

i was told to do roughly 1/3 cup per quart or roughly a handful.

OP - anything else going on that could correspond with the headache?

do you have a reason to suspect the nettles otherwise?

Well, shoot maybe I'm just reacting to it then.....
The headache is really bad (not go the hospital bad, but want to curl up in a ball and cry bad) , and developed quickly within the hour of drinking it, so I'm sure it's that....this sucks.....
I'm downing water....

ETA - posted at the same time menomena.... It's not my "typical" headache. It developed quickly, is throbbing on the left side (usually I get a headache on the right), I'm not dehydrated, not a stressful day, weather is pretty even. I've experienced migraines before, and I could always pinpoint the trigger - this feels pre migrainish.....with no other obvious triggers....
I thought nettles b/c it's the only new thing.....maybe it isn't... I don't know, my head hurts..... sorry....

Sorry mama, I know you were trying to help, I really do appreciate it.

To update: I have a bit of a lingering throb, not like yesterday though. Luckliy DS actually had a really decent sleep - only up to nurse, not cry etc.

I'm not ready to give up on the nettles yet, I'm just doing to try a little less and add a lot of water to it - I have to know if it was the nettles for sure!
