yes I did. this is ONE of the MANY reasons I don't vaccinate. I have a hard time grasping how ANYONE, even pro-choicers, feel comfortable injecting such a thing into their child, but to each their own - I agree peopel should know this though

You will find many parents that are for vaccines,yet they are anti-abortion? How does that make any sense!

You cant always get parents to stop vaccination even if you inform them what is in the ingred.
Heavy metal toxins.....does not matter..........aborted fetus.......does not matter...........formaldehyde.............does not matter.

The media/MD's/politicians have manipulated parents into thinking based on fear....Much of what parents know about the dangers of vaccines are word of mouth/discussion forums.

I don't believe there are aborted fetuses IN vaxes, the fetuses were used to develop the vaxes. At least thats the way I understand it. Which if you are pro-life is just as bad. I'm just saying.

The new chicken pox vaccine made by Merck Frosst Pharmaceuticals is grown on the MRC-5 cell line derived from the normal lung tissue of a 14-week-old male fetus aborted "for psychiatric reasons." So are the polio and hepatitis A vaccines.

The rubella virus in the MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) three-in-one shot is grown on the WI-38 cell line-developed in 1961 from an aborted three-month-old female fetus............................................. .....Please read the entire article

Actually, Kriket is correct. The physical matter in the current vaccines, 30-40 years later is not the same physical matter as was taken from the aborted babies. According to the EWTN article,

MRC-5 is normal lung tissue taken from a 14- week old male child aborted because a Swedish couple wanted no more children. Both cell lines support a broad range of rhinoviruses. Both are "immortal," which means they reproduce rapidly and self- consistently enough to remain essentially similar to the tissue taken from two dying bodies over thirty years ago."

"essentially similar" means that its not actually the same tissue. Morally, however, the fact that the original aborted baby tissue was a necessary prerequisite to the current physical matter means that using the ingredients in the current vaccine is morally equal to using the aborted baby.

I think its important to understand the physical distinction, and to be well educated and precise with our language. Saying that there are aborted babies in vaccines gets the moral point across. However, (someone correct me if I'm wrong, please!) its not technically correct and gives an impression of not understanding the science behind the vaccines, which I know is quite the opposite of what I see on this well educated board!

: I am totally not trying to say that vaxes are safe or don't involve abortion. I just think that the facts speak loudly and clear enough on their own! To be balanced and educated on this article is so very important especially when lurkers, family and fence sitters are involved! They need to know the unbiased facts which speak for themselves.

I have read the links and many other like them. Those links pop up around MDC every now and then.

Well, this is a similar situation to vegans using vaccines, yet I know lots of vegans set aside their ethics because they think the vaccines are just that important. It ends up being fear of unknowns vs ethics.
