Where to buy bulk Sucanat?

I've been buying Sucanat at our HFS, but usually in 2-3 lb bags. I quit buying white sugar, so I go through quite a bit of the sucanat. Does anyone know of a good place to buy/order Sucanat in bulk? 10-25 lb bags would be great.

Thanks!

I don't know about any place online, but UNFI sells it and you can email them to find a buying club if you're in their area, or ask your hfs to order it for you.

Frontier. I believe you can get it in bulk. I have a wholesale account, but I know you can get it through their commercial site as well.

Whole Foods sells it in their bulk area. Or if you can find one of these co-ops in your area they have Sucanat in bulk as well.

We have gotten bulk Succonat from Frontier and recommend it Find a co-op in your area or online (www.mamacoops.com) for wholesale pricing.

frontier has it in either 1 lb bags or 25 lb (I checked into it hoping for a 10 lb)

Thanks so much for all of the suggestions! Unfortunately I can't seem to get www.mamacoops.com to come up for me. Frontier's normal price for 1 lb seems way to pricey $$ ($9.50/lb). I usually pay between $1.29-$1.59/lb. for organic, locally. I guess I was hoping to get a better price. Maybe if I can find a local coop, I can get a better price. Our local town coop is $1.59 for the non-member price.

I think you might be looking at the retail price on frontier, because my catalogue says it's only 4.75/lb... but that's still way more than your 1.59! I wish I could get it for that cheap here.

United Buying Clubs is where I get it, in 25-pound bags. Less than $2 pound for non-organic.

Wow! It sounds to me that I'm already getting a great price locally. That's great. I think I'll ask if I can get a discount on a 25+ lb bag from the local store. It will probably be cheaper than online. If I can get it cheaper, would anyone like me to get them the cheaper price? I'd be happy to help out, if I can! I'll post the price after I speak with the store.
