Has anybody dyed an Ergo?

I originally posted this in babywearing but it was suggested to me to post here so...

I have a camel Ergo I was thinking about dying red or some other fun color. Has anybody done this and have any tips? Is it as simple as getting some Dylon and filling the tub and following the package directions?

I do not have personal experience, however I have seen them dyed. So I know that they can be. You might want to dearch at the baby wearer
