I go in to see if I can register my son without issue at my local Catholic school. I plan on smiling, handing them my exemption letter and the deposit check! Cross your fingers for me.

Our private Catholic school had no problems at all. I think they are mostly concerned about the money and well behaved children.

I think it went smooth! She looked at the papers, asked me about it nicely and I told her that I knew of someone in the diocese who had used an exemption
( Thanks Carriebft!) and she said-"I'll call you if there is an issue" YIPPEE!!

Excellent! I got a call from the school today about a section of one form I handed in that I had accidentally left something blank- DD's baptism date. I think if there was an exemption issue, they would have mentioned it but they didn't. They said everything else is 'in order and ready to go' and that they would see us in the fall
