DS has had pretty bad rash since he was born, and just yesterday figured out it's probably reaction to milk/dairy.
(We had suspected, since DD and I can't have dairy. We should have figured out when he reacted badly to the milk based formula they gave him in the hospital, but that's neither here nor there now.) Anyway, DH and I went out to get some non-dairy milk and cheese, but the only cheese we found was Veggie Shreds shredded and the same brand of sliced cheese, which has milk in it.
: There are 2 more stores we can look at, we didn't today because the weather is bad, but I'm wondering if anyone knows of cheese that doesn't have milk in it, like a name/brand, that maybe if I can't find it on the shelf, I can ask around for? I'm so bummed since we found out, I do *so* love my cheese.

) I've found it much more satisfying to simply eliminate the cheese in a recipe than to try and replicate the taste or texture. Tacos are yummy with meat, beans, salsa, and guacamole. Pizza is OK with lots of veggies and no cheese substitute.
