Hotsling Question!

Ok, so I figured out a way that I can put my 1mo son in a hotsling. Problem is its not on their instruction video so I want to make sure its safe before I use it. I would post a pic, but he's sleeping right now.

He weighs almost 11lbs, and has fairly good head control, and loves ot be tummy to tummy with me - it relaxes him alot and he doesn't wiggle as much that way.

Can I put him tummy to tummy in the hotsling? With his legs froglegged in the bottom of it? It felt very secure when he was in it yesterday for about a half hour, and he was very content. Is this a safe way to carry him? Or do I need a different carrier to do a tummy to tummy hold? (when I had him in it his head was resting on my chest just above my breasts)

TIA

i did that with my son when he was a newborn - in a slingling, but they're very similar. I did fold down the top edge over my shoulder to snug it up around his neck or head. I think it's perfectly safe as long as you're sure you have his little bottom/legs IN the pouch... I had one time I put him in and I noticed that he wasn't actually in the pouch

Yep, what she said!

Tummy to tummy is a great carry to do in a pouch.

Does anyone have a photo of tummy to tummy in a pouch that they can attach?
