Clary Sage Stinks. Literally. End PSA.
That's what I heard, and so that's what I was expecting-- especially that it is supposed to smell aggravating to pregnant women . . . but . . . I LOVE the smell. It's SO GOOD. :

And DH loves it, too. And so do my sons. We are all in love with the smell of Clary Sage. I think it is our new favorite oil burner scent and also we are sprinkling it in the car now. Mmmmmm . . . .

Go ahead, kick me.

Oh wow, undiluted?!?!? I would never put tons of essential oil on my skin undiluted-- hmmm, maybe tea tree oil, that's it though.

I would have added several drops to some carrier oil instead, like almond or coconut. (Maybe that's what you did?) I agree, though, too much Clary Sage smells really gross. Just a little is divine, though. :

Not in your DDC, just wanted to say that I thought Clary Sage was your DC and you were talking about a diaper

My great great grandmother's middle name is Sage and I have been BEGGING dh to let the baby's name have Sage in it somewhere, but alas he is adamant that Sage will not be in there. Oh well, maybe next time.

Last night I was having some good contractions that started to peter out, so I rubbed undiluted clary sage on my belly. Never thought of diluting it.

the smell of it makes me nauseous. I've been sniffing it. I tried a few drops in the bath but no luck. My dh hates it too.

DH hates teh smell of it.. I on the other hand REALLY like teh smell of it!! I t jsu tsmells relaxing to me.. I mixed mine in with some lotion adn rubbed teh belly dwon good last night to help my ctx out. But nothign lasted more than a few hours (and i was to sleepy to repeat in 3 hours! LOL)
I use it in my baths and i have used it in olive oil as a rub as well. it definateyl shoudl be diluted though...
I am thinking tonigh ti'm going for a long walk 9it' s45 degrees out here today.. so it should be nice for a walk...sans children.... and then a hot bath with teh clary sage oil and then a belly rubdown with soem in my lotion and then a back rub form DH... IF i have any desire/energy left after I willl try the orgasm route again... it hasnt' done anythgin productive yet, but DH is happy and is willign to do more around the house for me!~
