Homemade washable paint?

Does anyone have a recipe for homemade washable paint? I'm looking for something for my two boys who just LOVE to paint. They go through it so fast, it's costing me an arm and a leg. Thanks!

I make homemade finger paints with cornflour (cornstarch?) water and sugar. I don't have an exact recipie, I think I use about 1/2 cup of cornflour to 1 tablespoon of sugar. mix them with water and cook until you get a thick paste. Then divide into bowls and add some paint/food colour to each one. I prefer the paint.

We find that they keep OK for a week or so and it only takes a bit of paint to colour the paste.

Here is a whole section of homemade craft recipes (paints, doughs, chalks, bubbles, etc.) http://childfun.com/index.php/recipe...t-recipes.html
