What is "north central arkansas"?

Just wondering what the locals define as north central. DH applied for a job that only specified "north central." I'm not seeing anything really in the area I'd define as north central, but DH says he thinks that includes little rock and its northern areas .

Jonesboro is more northeast (about 50 miles from Memphis). North Central, to me, would be Harrison, Mountain Home, Yellville, maybe Batesville. Those are the bigger cities. There are tons of little towns up here.

Little Rock is central Arkansas, for sure.

North Central is the area north of Little Rock, but not including LR. LR is considered central AR.
