BumGenius: Is it designed for specific gender?

I was delighted to find that Target do carry bumgenius and I wanted to add them to baby registry but I saw that there are categories, bumGenius 2 pack for boys, bumGenius 2 pack for girls.

I was wondering if it is specifically designed for gender because of how the cloth are manufactured or because of its color? I just happened to like how the shade green and blue are and I would buy them for my 2 girls.

First, OMG Target carries BumGenius! I had no idea!

Yeah, all the dipes are the same regardless of color. Most of our BGs are green.

Me too! I was just googling trying to find a local bumgenius 3.0 store and it led me to Target.. bummer that they don't have bumgenius 3.0 but at least, they do have bumgenius and I went... OOOHHH!

Glad to know that those diapers are unisex but *scoffs* at how society labels the color for specific gender! *shaking head*
