Guess what I got to do today!!!!

X-posted in Breastfeeding, I just had to tell my Lactivism mommas because you were the ones that brought me to MDC and empowered me to breastfeed my child, my most precious accomplishment, for 3 years.

My baby boy is going to be 3 years old in just 4 short days. Today my DH came home with pink eye. After I convinced him that breastmilk is a treatment for conjunctivitis by showing him 50,000 websites, he let me treat him twice by putting my milk in his eye with a dropper.

Then I gave the left over milk that I hand expressed in a shot glass to DS. My kid did a shot of breastmilk :

Then DS cuddled in bed with me and DH and had his normal before bed nurse.

What a day, my milk cured DH and nourished my DS. I feel so powerful and wonderful right now I'm an Earth momma!!!

You have superpowers

Isn't it wonderful to embrace your femininity?

Hope the world has more of you in the future and you are able to educate others.

Way to go MAMA!

you rock!

we had a moment like this a few months ago...DH got his first razor burn since DS was born (he got a new job and had to shave) so I offered him some breastmilk...and he was skeptical, but I expressed it into a cotton ball, then we dabbed it on his face...and now he asked for BM on a cotton ball at least once a week! for an itchy dry skin spot, pimple, chapped lips, cut/scrape/burn from work (he's a chef).

and he tells all of his friends about it...he jokingly calls me the milk factory/baby feeder/medicine cabinet. as long as he feeds me he knows we're set!

breastmilk is wonderful!

Sweet thread. I feel like a natural woman too because I breastfeed my children. We are using our bodies 100%
