Do not ever ever ever make an awesome spicy Mexican meal with lots of chili peppers and then remove your diva cup.

I can feel my girly bits shrinking up in fear just thinking about it.

the oils in a lot of peppers are VERY lasting...hence using some of it in pepper spray and whatnot.

I had to use nitrile gloves to do wound care a while ago, but I continue to use the leftovers for pepper preparation. I think if this box ever runs out I will even buy another one.

I use gloves when cutting up peppers too, and I use a LOOOTTT of peppers.

Sorry for the owie OP.

I usually am more careful when I'm actually chopping peppers up, but these were guajillos, dried. I sliced them, toasted them and stuck them in the blender. I didn't think I even touched them that much!

I once did something very similar after cutting jalapenos. I panicked and had to put my stuff under the faucet in the tub. It didn't help as much as I had hoped. I should have poured milk or yogurt on it. LOL
Anyway, I feel your pain.

OMG, don't *ever* clean with bleach (don't normally do this but the shower in that place was **bad**) and then play around with DH. It gets through the gloves some and stays on your hands.

Bright side, his you know what was nice and smooth after its chemical peel
