for those that use little g pants with cloth inside...

what kind of diapers do you use with your little g pants? flats? prefolds?
i've never even tried the flushable things that are supposed to go inside. i've been trifolding infant-size pf's in my dd's size large g pants. i'm just wondering what other mamas are doing.

I think most of what I have read are prefold's.

I am not a fan of g's for several reasons, but I do think that the use of the covers with a cloth insert is a great mix and lots seem to have great success with that particular combo!

there is a seller on etsy who makes hemp inserts specifically for the g pants. i never had any luck using them as covers, they always leaked so i gave up.

yeah, i'm not a fan of the flushable things either. but as covers i like them because of the fit. and my dd is sensitive to pul, i really like the nylon/cotton combo. no red marks. i'll check out that etsy seller. thanks for your replies!

nikky's covers make an awesome nylon or cotton breathable cover that was my most bulletproof prize covers. They were the only things that kept my super soakers contained at night. That could be another option for you too.

I use a trifolded prefold in mine. But honestly, I try not to use the g pants unless I absolutely have to (like I have no more clean covers!). They just don't work that well, IMHO. Their big rectangle shape just makes for an awkward fit on my kid. I need covers that are more contoured. Mine tend to leak a lot, too, which is another reason I don't use them.

Now, I got the whole starter pack with 2 covers for $10, so that's the only reason I bought it. I thought $5/cover was a great deal, but I've since discovered that it's totally possible to buy nicer covers for the same price. So yeah, eventhough I got them for cheap I kinda regret it now.
