I'm only 1 day overdue, but because my other two kids birthed spontaneously at 37w5d and 38w2d, I FEEL a lot more overdue. No one can believe I'm still pregnant. I keep going back and forth between feeling intensely like it might be tonight, and then thinking I've still got weeks to go. :

This is my first and I am 2 days overdue now. I feel the same way.. sometimes I feel like I could just be pregnant forever and other times I think I bet it'll start soon!

I am . Only 1 week though.... i imagine it will still eb a few days, although i have been having pretty decent ctx about every 8-10 minutes.... so who knows.... but i'll go crazy with you! dh si sitting here reading about unassisted childbirth. As our dr is out of town and i HATE his back up and havent' really decided if i want ot deal with her at the hospital, since we have no midwife guess it would end up with him doing it here at home.... we have friends locally that have (one has 8 children and all were UC except 2, 1 was a hb with midwife the other was a birth center) so we cna call them if needed. (im only half joking about doing this UC... I am so miserable right now but REALLY dont' want that other Dr. )

I'm here. 10 Days over today. Really want to meet my baby boy and see his face but kinda passed the crazy, physco phase of needing him out "now" and have resolved to it being days from now if thats when he's ready.

I'm 3 days overdue. It's very unlikely my doctor will induce before 42 weeks, so I'll probably be here for a while! Women in my family tend to bake 'em longer.

Over due here too but just by a couple of days. I have had some activity today with bloody show and contractions but nothing serious. I am with fireflymama- my first two came early on their own so I am feeling gigantic and really overdue this time around. I am not sure what to think but since my other kids are sick, I'll take an extra day or two I suppose....just hoping it isn't next week when I post my announcement!

I lost my mucus plug yesterday, and will be hitting the castor oil today if anything starts.
I'm 6 days over and Mon. I have another NST scheduled. I passed one yesterday with flying colors. I also had an ultrasound to check my fluid levels which are fine.

Hmm. Am I overdue?

By last monthly period, my due-date was Feb 6th.
By a 20ish week ultrasound . . . my due date is February 23rd!

So . . . You tell me! The psychology of having to be ready over such a span of time is crazy!

I'm still here too. 4 days overdue and pretty much feeling like nothing is happening. I have the stuff for a labor cocktail, but I am going to wait until late next week before I try that... diarrhea and labor mixed together don't sound very good to me... but better than a hospital induction.

Definitely on the crazy train here. I just want this over.

I'm 40w1d, but I don't consider that overdue. It helps that I had my other two some time between week 40 and week 41. I am very zen about it, for now.

I'm 40 weeks 1 day, too. I wanted to have the baby last night but it wasn't the right time I guess. So I can hang out with you all instead! Yay!

For me I know for a fact I am over due. From LMP that is, but I know when I conceived.
Waiting for DH to get back so I can start the castor oil. I have more mucus coming out and last night it was a bit blood tinged. I think the stress has been keeping me from going. So I have a pot of broth cooking, my sister's all packed and in alert. I have some last minute things I have to re do and then, Lord Willing, I will be in labor. Pray for me.

I am 4-6 days overdue, by conception date or LMP. But I was born 2.5 weeks late, and my mother was born almost 4 weeks late, so there is some family trend here, esp for winter babes. When I sort of check in with my intuitive sense of the little one, it doesn't feel quite like a baby yet.

I am trying not to get to impatient. Had a reassuring midwife appt. yesterday, but she refused to even look to see if my cervix was indicating anything, much less strip membranes! She really has the attitude that babies come out when they are done and internal exams don't really give much information, cause things can change so fast. We did do some acupuncture points to encourage labor.

I -dreamed- I lost my mucous plug last night!

Trying to make this waiting period fun, go on dates w/ my sweetie, making yummy food to have ready, and finish up projects. People keep calling and emailing asking if I am there yet!

MizLizzy ~ I am also trying to enjoy the time, but I get restless if I'm at home too much for some reason. I think I am going to enjoy a bath and then DH and I are going to my parents just to get me out of the house for a bit today.

Ooooh, I'm hoping today is the day. Only 2 days over now (or 6 days by stupid LMP date, which is wrong). Last night I got a chunk of plug. I'm serious in that I find it a lovely sight. With my other 2 kids, the plug meant labor would start in 24-30 hours. Of course, this kid has already baked almost 3 weeks longer, so he/she is blazing their own trail. But I'm hopeful things will start today. I'd LOVE to have a Valentine's baby. It also happens to be exactly one week before and after my parent's birthdays.

Going for a walk soon to see if these cramps will organize.

3 days "over" now. I have the stuff for the cocktail as well. My mw said it wouldn't work this week and we should do it next weekend. I might give it a go anyways but not til tommorow. Not really psyched for a valentine's baby. Ds was 41wks 3 days so it could be next saturday. I alternate between wanting to be patient and wanting the baby out NOW!! I have an NST booked for wednesday.

Has anyone's water actually broken? Mine did 72 hours ago but my contractions are still disorganized and weak, and only after I take my labor tincture.
