27mo wets at night. What to use?

Help! What can I wear on my 27 mo DD at nighttime? She uses the potty all day and is very independant, but wets (a lot) at night when she sleeps. She absolutely will not wear anything that resembles baby-stuff (cloth dipes). I'm losing so much sleep by changing our bed 1-2 times each night!

Any ideas???

Thanks!

maybe you could try sewing a liner into some regular undies - you could cut up and old doubler maybe small enough that she wouldnt think it looks like a diaper but enough so that it might atleast catch one pee? would she wear some plastic pants over her undies?

doesnt goodnights make some shorts that are for bedwetters? maybe that would work if the cloth options fail?

Thanks for the ideas. I'll try sewing something into her panties, but she really wets A LOT when she goes.

I've tried the Overnights shorts. She's having none of it! :

When I put something on her when she's asleep (cloth dipe, Overnites) she wakes up, takes it off, tosses it while I'm asleep and I find a naked (& wet) butt beside me.

Any other ideas??? Please????

I know a WAHM on hyenacart that makes toddler changing pads. They're pretty big, have a PUL back for waterproofing, a front that wicks moisture, and you can add a layer of hemp in the middle to absorb more. I'd bet she'd be willing to add more than one layer of hemp for a full-on nighttime pee, if you explain the situation. They're a bit pricey for me (I wanted one for nighttime nursing leaks), but for your situation they'd likely be cheaper than other options.

Also, GMD sells training pants that are like thicker underwear with a waterproof outer, which may suit your tastes better? One brand is thicker and may contain better, the other is thin and very like underwear, and can be stuffed for more absorbency.

I used several different brands of night-time "trainers" with my boys when they were in a similar situation. My favorites were Potty Dance Pants made for nights by Bum-Ware, but they don't appear to be on her site anymore.

Another good resources is The EC Store, and customisable pants like these: http://www.theecstore.com/index.php?...roducts_id=530
I had one pair of those made for my DS, and they worked well. You can also add more absorption because they're pocket-like. I found the Potty Dance Pants more to my liking, but those were very good and there are lots of options to help make them amenable to a little one.

Nikky covers were my savior.

They did what no other cover could -- contain my heavy wetter sons at night.

Not WAHM made, but the night-time trainers from One Step Ahead are great and very thin. Those under some wool jammies are great!

I was going to suggest two things:

1) Daisy-Doodles makes some trainers that might work overnight for her.....

or 2) Pull-Ups (which i am opposed to, but a Mom's gotta do, right? ) now make an 'overnight' product that pulls on just like undies - so maybe she would accept that? I know my niece is very particular about that stuff, and wears those no problem (though she's always been in sposies)

What about a Happy Heiny trainer? You can stuff them if needed.

would maybe letting her look online with you and pick out a cute print help?

My nephew would wet his diaper at night...take it off...get back in bed and wet again. Is she maybe already wetting the diaper once? They might have the same problem and just not want to be in the wetness. Maybe try to have a few pull up style and let her know to put on a new one. I know that is asking a lot...but worth a shot!
