Which countries have the highest rates of vaccine refusal?

I've been researching this for a friend who says that in Australia, selective and non-vaccinators don't exist. Is this true? What about other countries?

Australia does not have mandatory vaccination, so there are quite a few selective/non-vaxers there. Same for Canada as well. I'm not sure if there are compliance stats out there (and I can't research right now, baby starting to fuss) but a few years back I recall reading in one of those local health region magazines (you know, the free ones in waiting rooms) that in the health region they estimated 85% of children fully vaxed on schedule, about 10-12% partially vaccinated, and the remainder unknown or not vaccinated. Of course, this is what the health region believes. Knowing the amount of selective-delayers I do, even in mainstream playgroups, I think they are over estimating their numbers on the fully on schedule side.

If they don't exist, the I guess the conscientious objection form was drafted for nothing.

I live in Australia with my selectively vaxed kids, and many of our friends don't vax at all. So in my experience your friend is wrong, sorry. Some areas definitely have a higher incidence of vax rates though, maybe she lives in one of those?

The US is the ONLY country where vaccines are mandatory.

Just curious why your friend would tell you that??

Complete non-vaxer from Australia over here

I also have friends who are non-vaxers. Definitely an incorrect statement from your friend

I was introduced to the idea of questioning vaxes by a selective Canadian vaxer.

Someone is fibbing to you!

Not to go OT, but I am wondering if the Autism rates are very low in Australia? That would be interesting to see!
