Has anyone seen Coraline yet?
I will be taking my 8y/o (almost 9) dd to see it tonight. It seems a little scary, I know she will love it though. She seems to like dark things.
However, I wonder if it would be too much for my 7y/o dd to see it. She seems to really hang on to scarier images and sometimes has nightmares afterwards. She says she wants to see Coraline too but I am not sure. We will have to travel out of town to see it as it is not playing in our local theatre so that means that either my dh or myself will have to occupy my younger dd for a couple of hours while the other pair sees the movie. This is workable but if it isn't too scary a movie I think I would bring the younger dd too.
Thanks in advance!
ETA: Marley and Me is also playing at the theater but dh thinks it would be too sad for the 7y/o. Opinions?
