Patterns for pillows and seat covers and fabric critique

I want to make pillow covers for our couch pillows and maybe some seat covers for our dining table chairs. I have some loose ideas but nothing concrete. I'm pretty novice at sewing and am thinking I need some patterns.

Here are the fabrics I want to use, with probably a matching solid thrown in: one or more of the first four on this page with something like this. Don't have a solid yet.

I also like a lot from this collection.

First off, what do you think of those? And second, do you have any good (free?) patterns I can check out? I'm thinking of one fabric on the back with two on the front creating a buttoned pocket...or something else that can meld the three fabrics.

I like the first four a lot, the others not so much but that's just my opinion so don't take too much heed!

I'm not sure how much abuse quilters cotton can take on seat covers but some heavier weight lining might make it more sturdy.

For patterns I'd google 'How to sew ____' and see what you come up with. Make one cushion cover and one chair cover out of an old sheet or similar unwanted fabric to see how best to construct them and hopefully make mistakes on fabric you don't love before using your favourite fabric. Once you have done one the others will be easier.
