PP pads? A TMI post about discharge.

So I'm done bleeding, but I still have heavy discharge - which I hope is normal. Thing is, I STILL have stitches that still hurt badly. I determined that much of the soreness though is coming from the horrible pads that I've been using, so I stopped using them which means my underwear is getting gross every day.

What pads do people use that don't irritate? I don't have the money to buy anything expensive, and I use tampons normally so I don't really want to invest in anything cloth. Any ideas?

Natracare pads are awesome if you are looking for something disposable. They are chemical free and very, very soft. They can be ordered online all over the place, Amazon probably has decent prices. However, if you just want one box to try out, Whole Foods carries them, health food stores and other natural stores carry them. Good luck!

I had irritation from a few pads, and finally did OK with Carefree Unscented Pantyliners. I doubt they will absorb much, but they handle spotting fine for me, and seem to be irritating me a lot less! Mine is more of an allergic reaction to something than irritated stitches though. HTH!

I use cloth pads. Disposable pads are what (I think) caused my stitches to take forever to heal last time. They were just too irritating. I like the Luna Pad panty liners for spotting/discharge.
