After much consideration, we have decided to get some newborn cloth. I have 2 dozen newborn fitteds, but I am unsure of what covers to get. I ordered a bummis wrap in the froggy pond print, but I really don't like how stiff it was. I have heard that the Thirsties are much softer. What is the softest cover I can get that is not wool?

They are a little more pricey than some of the other covers on the block. They are well worth it. They have gussets, stretch nicely to conform and keep everything in and they are soft and breathable. I found them to be a superior cover to ALL of the other brands I used. Nikky's also makes breathable waterproof cotton and wool and have been around longer than most brands since the 1980's, that I am familiar with.
Last I knew you could get a reasonable resale value too, they are worth every penny. The Pin has good reviews on them also. I would suggest at least one for night time. They were the only cover that kept my sons dry at night.

I have used Thirsties, Bummis, Prowraps, and Wonder Wraps. I like them all. My favorite is Thirsties. They are the softest and trimmest IMO.
