How many dipes in each size?

Let me start by saying that I think I have a cd shopping problem lol

How many cd's should I have for each size, nb to lg? I'm thinking I'd like to wash every other day, so probably enough for 3 days would be ideal, so I don't have to rush the laundry (I plan on line drying most of it).

For nb, I have mostly fitteds/covers, and some aio's. For sm-lg I have a lot of pockets, and some fitteds and aio's.

What I have:
nb- 30 mostly fitteds, some aio's and pockets, plus a dozen pf's (not sure if I'll use these or not- I hated pf's when ds was in dipes)

sm- 28 mostly pockets and fitteds, a couple aio's.

md- 29 pockets, fitteds, aio's (plus 20 fitteds I'll get from SIL once her dd has outgrown them- she'll be 1yr older than the baby)

lg- 17 pockets (most of these are os pockets. I won't stock up on lg until I see how big the baby will be. But ds was in lg FB when he was 5 mos old, so I might be buying more pretty soon. lol).

Do I have plenty of dipes?

Definitely looks like enough dipes to me!!! We have about 30 NB dipes and 36 OS pockets... but we are having our 2nd and will have 2 in dipes so I wanted to get a big enough pocket stash for 2 going before we have the new baby For just one I think 24-26 of each size is good!!

I think it looks good for now, too. You can always get more in the larger sizes as you need them.

I'll probably have 2 in dipes, too! Yikes! Due Aug. But I'm hoping : #1 is out of dipes by the time #2 is in the bigger sizes. We'll see...

you do have a lot of diapers. The rule of thumb is 12 diapers per baby per day. Hope that gives you an idea

if you can afford it, i would get another dozen small pfs....if you have small babies, maybe half doz each of nb and sm.

looks like you have plenty of the others

wow, that is a great stash. Let me say that I only have 'One Size' diapers, but I only have 20 of them and I do laundry every 3rd day. I recently invested in a wool soaker for overnights, but still trying to see if this will work for us.

Good luck!

Ok good to know! So if I have enough, then I should be done buying diapers. Right? Right? lol

Though I am wanting to get some bamboo inserts now... (I think it's just because I have the shopping bug, and I want to buy *something* lol)

It is so easy to go over on CD's. I am always finding a sale with another new dipe for me to try. I think you've got plenty. Remember LO at many times my be in two or even 3 sizes. My 14lb LO is still in his NB and wearing smalls. I have some mediums that he can wear if dipes get too low.
