color bleed with Thirsties covers?

Do the bright/dark colors of Thirsties covers bleed the first couple washes? I'm asking because I want to get red and candy pink covers, but if I have to wash them separately from all the other diapers/covers because they'll bleed, it's not practical for me to buy them -- I'll just stick with white and pastel colors instead (but I'll be sad )

Hmm, if they run big, should I get XS? I was going to just start with small and skip XS. DD is about 11-12 pounds (will find out for sure on Wednesday) and about 23 inches long. Is this too little for size S Thirsties?

while they are generously sized if your baby is on the verge of being in a small i would go for the small, they have really nice stretchy tabs and crossover velcro.
my 2 year old wears a large and has tons and tons of room like it is tightened as much as possible on him.
