Frances is sick at 3 weeks old :(

My 6 older children have been sick since Frances was born, and finally last night Frances started to be congested. I'm trying my very best not to freak out, but she is only 3 weeks old, and Im really not handling this well. Today I took her in and my Dr said to put breastmilk in her nose and ears, so thats what I'm doing... I know that right now its not serious, I just feel that things keep getting harder and harder...I just so badly want a break so I can enjoy her and not worry, and my stupid PP hormones arent helping.

Ds2 wound up with a cold when he was only a few weeks old. It really sucked, but I think it was harder on me. She'll be ok.

That's awesome you doc suggested to use the breastmilk!! What a rare find!!

Using breastmilk like this and just nursing will get her feelling better sooner than anything. I know how hard it is to see your dc, especially a new baby, sick. You are doing a great job mama, I sincerely hope she gets well quickly so you don't have to worry any longer.
