Are you serious? There's going to be a Real Housewives of New Jersey?
I'm also watching it if it airs.

Oh that is going to be awesome!!! Are they bringing back the Atlanta people at all?

No idea, I hope so. Just saw a blurb for NJ is US or People.

What is up with this Kelly character?!?!? She is seriously off the hook with this charity meeting right now. I tend to love Bethany and Jill...and Ramona is even growing on me this season, but Kelly saying "how cute" in response to hearing that Jill's daughter has arthritis....who says that? (ok...besides Ramona with the "blind" comment in the Hamptoms, but I digress). Kelly just struck me as sort of cold hearted, and like she has a huge chip on her shoulder.

And PS, I think it's hysterical that I just wrote this post as if I know these women personally and "lunch" with them all the time. If only they could see me nursing a sleeping baby while pretending to write reports watching Bravo with one eye

I'm a real housewife of a suburb of NYC!

OMG, Real Housewives of NJ? I'm so excited. ROFL.

The NY ladies are my favorite. I heart them.

It sounds like on this show, they pulled the women from several sources and they sort of became friends from the show where as the OC ones knew of each other more. When the countess met Kelly for lunch in the hamptons and they were "friends" it seemed like a very forced conversation at lunch.
So they pulled Kelly into this one and she even said she is more of a private person or even shy, but it is national tv so come on!

It's funny, when I'm watching Orange County...I'm all "this is so my favorite group of women." Then I watch NY and I say the same thing.

I can't wait for NJ. No slips about where they are even filming though

Did you guys see last night? It was painful to watch Kelly at Jill's charity meeting. Wow. She is something else. Great drama though! I think this season is the most interesting yet, of all the housewife seasons...

Uh, yeah. Juvenile arthritis isn't cute. Also, she kept referring to Jill's dd as a "little girl" or "kid". Um, she's a young woman. I thought it was really rude to refer to her as a child right in front of her. :

What's up with Kelly's skin? It looks really sun damaged. Not that it's important at all but you'd expect someone who travels in such hoity toity social circles to spend a lot of money on skin treatments.

Bethenny is my favorite. I love her quips. "They should be writing a book about how to get to social events by crawling through the air conditioning duct." :

I could have died happily not knowing how it was that Alex and Simon met. Really, I don't need to know they were trolling for sex online. Must...get...mental...image....out...of....head.

I was assuming that Kelly had gotten a facial or something and that's why her face was so red/irritated.

yep-she always looks like she just got a chemical peel. I saw somewhere she used to be the face of Clarins back in the day-I thought she looked familiar.

Or that he is surgically unable to get her pregnant

I thought Kelly was rude & disrespectful at Jill's charity thing.

I can't believe I just found you all! This is my weekly TREAT! I don't like any of the other RH shows, just NYC. I have seen some of Orange County and I just find it ridiculous. Atlanta? Even harder to watch! Now NYC is the best b/c of Bethenny's quips, Jill's straightforwardness, Romona's bug eyes, and The Countess's "class". I am not a fan of the new Kelly, but she is lending some drama which is fun.

On Hulu and Bravo's website they have clips of the upcoming show- you should check it out. Also, have you seen Alex and Simon's webpage? I haven't read it much at all yet but I am sure it will be entertaining. http://www.mccordvankempen.com/

My faves are Bethenny, Jill, and now Ramona a bit. I totally agree that Ramona seems to love being a mom to Avery and that makes me just love her. I think Luann is not the best mother, and obv. Victoria is either embarassed by her mom or by being on the show, or both.

Bethenny is HILARIOUS. I did get her new diet book out of the library and it makes sense for a while until you realize she is suggesting you eat very, very, very little. I would LOVE to read Luann's book just to laugh.

It was RIDICULOUS how Kelly would not let her name be on the invite for the charity, and how she called the arthritis cute. And yes, she is doing something to her skin... the area around her mouth just doesn't look right.

What did you think about Luann's comment at the event when she referred to Kelly's divorce and whispered "lucky b**ch?"
LuAnn is so nasty this season. I get the feeling she may be having marital problems with her husband. Her daughter doesn't seem that happey either.

Love Bethenny but I hope she resolves her issues with her parents at least with herself. She's good looking and seems to have a nice personality but I think she's got some inner demons that contribute to her insecurities. Kelly is really not a nice person. She has no manners at all. Everytime someone is talking to her she interrputs or doesn't listen to what they are saying. So rude of her to come to Jill's charity meeting late just to say she needed to leave and didn't want her name used.

The whole Kelly-Bethenny antogonism was like a yummy ice-cream sundae topped by the totally hilarious confrontation b/t Simon and Ramona, which was like the hot fudge. Yum Yum. I can't get enough of this show. And I too haven't gotten into any of the other Real Housewives casts besides NYC.
And did anyone notice that interview that Kelly did with Jill Stuart? She's like "I like to give my readers some real information, some insider information" and she asked Jill if she could give some advice and Jill said something totally generic and meaningless like "Work is one chapter of your life and family is another." And Kelly was all like "Whoa!" " like she had just delivered a Shakespear monologue. Bethenny is totally right about her. No substance at all, and yet highly into the whole social game of NYC. Not unlike Simon and Alex, only the other end of the ladder...actually I feel that Alex and Simon might have a little bit of substance based on a scene from last season where Alex actually took the time to kiss and hug her son, a very rare moment of parental affection on the show. Somehow I guess those girls of Kelly's rarely even get to see her.
