What do spend per month on food -normal diet/family of 5 - Page 2

About $200-300/month for the 5 of us that eat. That's 2 adults, a 5 yr old, almost 4 yr old and almost 2 yr old. We dont count the baby, he nurses :-)

when we were a family of 5 we spent about $800. That included toilet paper and such, though. Now, we have 6 people that all eat well and we spend closer to $1,000.

"normal" diets, but I strive to get a good amount of organic/natural foods.

Anyone have a link to this USDA calculator?

We are spending about 700$ a month ( including supplements{ multivitamin, vit c and enzymes} and a meal replacement powder for my failure to thrive littlest one) Canadian for a family of four. The boys are GF/CF and I don't tolerate any grains myself. According to the neighbours around me we spend less than the average for the people who eat whole food diets. I don't think that we are allowed to write off special diet stuff here in Canada. I wish that I could get the cost down but we react to so much that it is tricky. We only buy conventional meats and produce too.

we are a family of five.three kids aged 6,4 and 2.
I spend $150 a week at the store plus $250 a month at Costco. So $850 a month. We are in north new jersey about 30 mins from NYC so I am sure that the cost of living is higher than other places.
