Well, I watched Anoop's performance for the third time, and I guess it was just the song. I really didn't enjoy it at all, he sounded kind of reedy and out of tune to me at times, but maybe that was all the song's fault.

I'm wondering if it was in part the sound system. None of the performers really sounded as good as I've heard them sound in the past, and it's just such a thin sound. I think Danny probably was the best, listening to him a third time, but the whole show was disappointing overall.

Maybe it's my tv set speakers going out! Hmmm, never thought of that.

I was not impressed with Michael Sarver, in the least! Definitely should have been Anoop over him. Does anyone remember when he sang "My Perogitive" in Hollywood? Man, he is good.

I really hope the producers don't even THINK about bringing Tatiana back for the Wild Card.

I was surprised that Anoop didn't get in.

I have to say that I was getting nervous when Tatiana and Danny were standing there. It would have been awful if Danny didn't make it.
I'm in Danny's camp. I really want him to win the whole thing.

I wanted Danny and Alexis to make it, yay! The third spot I was torn between Michael, Anoop, Brent, and Tatiana (I HATE her personality, but I do think she has a great voice). I didn't recognize hardly any of them from the preview of next week. It will be interesting to see who gets the wild card. I'm really not liking the whole top three set up.

I am not worried about Anoop in the least- I really feel confident he will be back as a wildcard. I will be SHOCKED if they don't bring him back. I was surprised it was Michael over him (thought Michael would be the WC) but ok with it.

I bet you anything Tatiana will be back as well, just for the drama. They can't resist!! I was nervous she and Danny were standing there, too!

From what I saw in auditions and Hollywood week, I really like Megan Corkrey and Matt Giruard.

And this guy is a big favorite of others. I like his voice, but you can tell his back ground is all Theatre, and that is kind of annoying to me.

I think Tatiana is probably the best singer from last night's group, but I knew she wouldn't get voted through because of her personality.

I thought the top 3 would be Alexis, Danny and Anoop, so I was pretty close.

I think he will.

I think the sound system is off, rather than my tv speakers. The music in the commercials sounded noticeably better, and then it seemed like the sound on the show was going in and out, because one minute Ryan sounded fine, and the next it sounded like he was speaking through a megaphone or something. Maybe it's my cable company.

I thought Megan Corkrey was overrated in the Hollywood audition, so I am anxious to see if I like her more next week. People on the idolforums were complaining the deck was kind of stacked against the girls for next week with so many great guys, but I like to think that all 36 are fairly decent. When some get a lot more coverage than others, they are kind of limited right from the start, so maybe this will make things more interesting.

The show was weird but I was happy with the results. I really wanted Alexis in the top 12- there were 3 or 4 different ones that I liked about as much as Michael... but when Danny & Tatianna were standing up there I was freaking out- I told my son- if Tatianna makes it we are NOT watching it this year!! He was like, yeah right, Mom.

But seriously- Danny is really good. I like him a lot.

I don't have enough info on next weeks 12 to mention anyone, except for good old Norman Gentle... the way they are doing it this year, no one really has a chance to stand out. Well, except for Norman. I hope he makes it through, in a way- at least he is interesting! I wish he would perform as himself for a change though- you can tell he has a good voice.

You know what's driving me crazy? I hate how the biggest complaint from the judges is SONG CHOICE!!!! It's not a song choice competition. It's a singing competition. If that's always so wrong, then why don't the judges pick the song every week for every singer? Then they can't complain about it. Then they can only judge the singing. And then it's really more of a challenge for the singers because they'll have to sing whatever is given to them, regardless if they like it or not or if they are emotionally connected to it or not. It seems like the way to win or lose is just about song choice. That's ridiculous to me!!
