Just sharing the joy of my good buy today!

I just wanted to share my joy! Not many of my friends/family understand how exciting this is!!!!

I just scored 22 OS pocket cloth diapers today! I'm so excited!!!!:::

I got 4 minky OS Blueberry, 8 regular OS blueberry, 5 OS bum genius, 3 OS Happy Heiny, 1 small swaddlebee, 1 large blueberry, extra inserts and a wet bag. All for $300 and they've only been used for 6 months...they look, feel and smell BRAND NEW! I'll add it to my stash of 3 OS fuzzi bunz, 3 happy heiny type WAHM smalls and my 25 med fuzzi bunz (I used on DD). Now my cloth diaper search is over!!! I just have to wait for the baby to come to get to use them. THese dipes are just soooo cute!

I am a bit sad about the way I got them though, the women I purchased them from is going through a very very tough situation and she needed the cash fast so that is why she sold them now and so cheaply. She was so sad to see them go, she even ended up keeping her favorite just to have for sentimental value. Such a nice women, I will be praying for her and her baby. :

Why do some people feel the need to say anything they are thinking?! : I have this one friend that always has to almost negatively respond to everything I do making me feel like I have to defend my actions. I just got these dipes and she is a CDer but the first thing she said after I explained it all was (including telling her the price)" I hope you gave her enough for the blueberries, those diapers are expensive, and do you really need all of those" We gave her the price she was asking and we couldn't have afforded to do it if it were more and she has so many dipes I don't understand her thinkin... So here I was feeling good about helping her out and getting us some nice dipes and now this friend made me feel like I wasn't good enough to this women, like I had riped her off. So frustrating..:

i bet she would do the same thing if she was in that situation. Maybe she is trying to make you feel bad because she wishes she got that good of a deal.

She needed the money and chose to sell her diapers, you don't need to feel bad about that.

Thanks to you and Kim for your responses. I know logically that I shouldn't feel bad, we both got what we needed out of the situation.... Every time I talk to this friend I use so much energy in the conversation and then end up wasting time afterward in a bad mood or thinking of what she said. It's so frustrating.

Thanks for sharing your good deal. Now here is mine...
I got 10 diaper covers in a variety of sizes...mostly Proraps, but also Diaperaps and Bummis. I also got 5 premium CPF. The gal told me to make an offer on what I wanted as she was going to Freecycle the rest. She was happy with $20, and I just need a few more newborn cover to complete my stash!
